Scrap commented on my last two PETSCII releases and joked about me making others look lazy and that I should "stop releasing great stuff every day" which both made me smile.
Today, I woke up and had a nicle little PM from him in my inbox and, well, of course I had to reply in PETSCII :-)
Having a spare couple of minutes, I thought about what to pixel: a crying baby with a "But I wanna do PETSCII all day" speech bubble? A guy being given a "Time out" card? A shopping window with a "Be right back" sign?
Ok, those would work, but aren't doable in the time frame available, but I do like the "Please wait"-idea and... well... how about a TV test/error card thingy? That shouldn't be too hard to PETSCII
Asked Google for a Please stand by reference pic and decided to use this one here:
Here's a screenshot of the first — and only — workstage that I've saved:
Booting it up in Denise I realized that it's quite an egg really and tweaked the lower half a bit.
Top could have needed some tweaks too to get a perfect shape, but I'm running out of time.
Not out for a speed record, but I only had an hour time, today, right now and it being an answer to an PM, delaying would have sucked. Search history told me I've started at 14:10, .pe file was created (aka first time saving) at 14:35 and the final .prg plus .png for CSDb at 14:52. Pretty stoked that I've managed to churn out this h/t to Scrap today.
